Saxon Spires Patient Participation Group

Summer 2024

The SSPPG is a collaborative team of Patients and Practice Staff, including GPs and Practice Management.  

Our meetings are held quarterly and alternate between Brixworth and Guilsborough Surgeries. We meet to review issues and identify ways of assisting the practice in its effort to improve the services available.  The next meeting will be held at Brixworth Surgery on Wednesday 21st August at 6.30pm.  New members are always welcome.

Health Walks will take place on the third Monday of each month. They will last for about 60 mins, beginning at 11am. The August walk will be on Monday 19th August, meeting at the Spencer Arms, Chapel Brampton NN6 8AE.  If you would like to have lunch after the walk, please select your menu choice in the pub from 10.30am,   Rosemary Ward will lead the walks.

A Get Up and Go Exercise Class aimed at preventing falls, improving your balance and coordination, is held at Naseby Village Hall on Tuesdays from 2.30pm – 3.15pm. The course is run by Northamptonshire Sport and you can book a place by calling 07312 247673. The cost is £6 per session.
