FOSM HISTORY GROUP

December’s meeting, on the 19th, will include a history quiz and a chance to look at the developing Creaton Heritage website. Many of the pictures on the website have been donated by members of the village and if you have any old, and not-so-old pictures of life in Creaton, do contact members of the Committee.

The January 16th meeting welcomes Wendy Raybould with an interesting talk about Mary Burbidge, an 18th century innkeeper’s widow. A fascinating insight into life at the time, and the role played by women.

All talks start at 7:30pm and are followed by an opportunity to have a free glass of wine and a chat. All events are in St Michael & All Angels unless otherwise stated.
