The topics for our next two meetings are a little different, both having a charity focus, and guests are most welcome:

• June 11th The Art of Perfumery with Master Perfumer Beverley Bayne who has worked on scents for famous brands including Penhaligon’s and Jasper Conran. Come and test your “nose” and learn how to identify different fragrance characteristics using smelling strips of perfumery raw materials. Beverley volunteers for Fifth Sense, a charity supporting people with an impaired sense of smell or taste. She will explain how our sense of smell works and why it is so important. Tickets £5 to include refreshments, and must be reserved in advance, please.
• July 9th Charity Serv OBN, will give an insight into the wonderful work of their volunteer motorcyclists who provide a rapid response courier service transporting blood and other urgently needed products to hospitals in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire.
